As for the typeface, I needed to pick one out , it's a time saver since I used to write the text in myself and it already takes me forever to draw a comic. I tend to get quite wordy sometimes and when I realize I make a mistake, or want to re-arrange the letters, I have to erase and start over or otherwise use a lot of copy and paste. Yikes.
I'd love to transcribe my handwriting into a typeface of my own but I have NO idea how to do it.
Apostrophes are now only used to show possessive or a contraction. It used to be correct before the 19th century, but not any more. It's misused so commonly, that people often seem to misuse it by example.
