A CHORE!?!? Checking CUEK (get the name right moistlipwig) may be a daily RITUAL, or a HABIT, but NOT A CHORE! Enzo, this is one of your best works. Though if a man is a slut, I believe the correct term is a “player”. It’s not nearly as derogatory as “slut” for some reason, and among male circles can even be considered a compliment. For example, imagine a group of college guys saying to another guy, “check it out, it’s player!” Now imagine a group of college girls (and for once, DON’T imagine them naked) saying to another college girl, “check it out, it’s the slut!” The tones aren’t really the same, are they? Anyway… Enzo, keep up the great work! Well done!

I agree with the first 1, Guys can b anorexic. Daniel Johns of Silverchair was anorexic and even wrote a song about it (Anna’s Song).
And in the last slide… Google ‘Pain Olympics – Final Round’. Not for the faint hearted.
But how do you know if a girl sleeps with a bunch of guys, why isn’t she a legend? You have a rather small brain, my friend.

a guy is a legend because probably about 80% of all guys aim to be or would like to be a “slut”, therefore respect the guys that are.

Because, I am friends with a few girls who would be stereotyped as ’sluts’. And besides the fact that 1 played with my best mates heart until he wanted to “B43 Life” she is actually a very interesting and funny person. And even her ’slut’ friends call her a slut behind her back.

Uh…right. Reason Enzo put up the strip was to shed light that stereotypes can be applied to everyone. So seeing as how you like to go with the “Legend” idea, I’m calling ignorance on you. Guys can be sluts. When I see a guy sleeping around? I would say he’s disgusting, and would not give an ounce of respect. Same with any girl who could bring themselves to sleep with some douche like that. Even if it’s not your “rule” it doesn’t mean it’s true. So if you happen to live that way, have fun…you’re going to find it pretty lonesome in the end.
I’d also like to say on your comment Jade, I was just my observation on the different between the mindset of Guys and Girls. I have only spent 17 years on this earth but for most of that time I have spent my time watching how others interact with one another. My own quiet social study if you will. And this is simply just one of the things i have found. You are simply what I refer to as a ‘Renegade’. A person who doesn’t agree with “Popular Society’s” rules and follows their. Congratulations! You are an independent human being who is not conforming to the norm.
Well as long as you’re not voicing an ignorant mindset on a comic that’s meant to deter people away from that, I have nothing more to say. I don’t disagree with your observation, though. I people watch, too, and notice a lot of patterns/behaviors/what have you as well. I just disagree on the “logic” with that shit. Thanks on the “Renegade” thing I suppose, although I’m not sure what the proper response would be. Norm or not, I choose to live according to myself.

Just a thought; have you guys ever REALLY got to know a ‘droid’/'lemming’ or 2? Sure, they may act in popular opinion in order to gain it, but if you spend a couple days spending time with ‘one’, you find they that usually don’t agree with their actions. I find it too off-tend the non-’droids’ bashing the ‘droids’ when they haven’t taken the time to get to known them.
I’ve known a slut who i bad at reaching out for love, and one of the better poets I know. I’ve known a bully who got beat by his father every time he got home and never learned how to make friends.
So before you right people off as ‘droids’ by what they say/think, try taking a look at what they really think.

I didn’t mean “droid” in literal means…I’m sure you know that. I got what you’re saying, it’s not unknown to me. I’ve known many, with different shit in their lives. Some extreme, some not so extreme. Some in the past, some in the present. And I’ve gone through a fair bit myself in so little time. I know some people are the way they are because of their past, childhood, etc…but there are also people being aware of what they’re doing (negatively, in this case) and wanting to change it, and those who don’t give a fuck and will continue it. Even if it’s a vengeful action, it still isn’t right. And those people don’t have my respect.
Don’t think I don’t try to talk to people or know different perspectives. I mean, why do I put this shit up and actually want people to discuss? But there are those who really are like “droids”. It’s good to try to know how other people are in depth, yeah, but so little people do that now. Personally, a lot of people from my life never tried to understand or ask. They assumed, so what did I do? I let them assume. If that’s what they think of me, I’ll be that way to them (only them), it’s what they expect. So I try not to do that to others, but so many times when I do try I get shut down. I want to give people benefit of a doubt, but it’s so damned hard when they slam you. I dunno if any of that made any sense.
I guess to me, a “droid” is (what I mentioned above) and someone who just doesn’t give a shit about their lives or how they’re living it. They just follow whatever others do to get by. I think I’m just dragging this on now. So I’ll leave it at that.

The difference between men & women on the whole “slut” double-standard phenomenon is simple. Sex drive comes mostly from testosterone, which men have heaps more of. Men aren’t wired to reject a hot girl, plain and simple. They’ve got nothing to lose and plenty to gain! They like sex and it’s good for the ego (which, ladies, is much more fragile than they make out and needs whatever support the guy can give it). Women, on the other hand, as well as having a smaller sex drive, have the risk of pregnancy, are less physically powerful than men and have a long history of being shunned for any sluttiness whatsoever. Now that religion isn’t such a huge influence on social attitudes towards women anymore, the reason this attitude is still around is that women generally have this ability to make much deeper friendship bonds than men, for whom emotional distance is an almost universal life philosophy, and therefore women should have no need to reassure their egos with one-night-stands and the like, especially since these are so much easier for women to find. That’s why slutty girls are seen as weak and slutty men walk with confidence. I don’t see how people can still be so confused over this.

aaahhhh….. bliss. My parents yelled at me today, I got cheated out of ten dollars, and I got bitten in the ass by my cousin’s rabid dog. This comic has brought me out of my cesspool of misery and I nearly turned emo but am now cheered up. I actually did make my guy friend bleed in his nether regions before… he had lost my hw so got kinda fustrated… asians need to keep their rep so they need to keep their hw too… thanx for coming back enzo college is hell with a cruel twist. (my sister is in college and she bitces about it all the time)
