Good enzo, but could we (evt.) get another strip NOT about a dog? I must admit, there pretty god(And emotional and funny), but don’t hang on the same shit, that is what make strips boring. That it is the same joke after the other.

    • Doug

      wrote on at :
      Thumb up Thumb down 0

It is not a joke. It is a story. Trust me, it is not good to tell artist what to do. It ends badly for everyone, unles it is a commission.

      • Noid

        wrote on at :
        Thumb up Thumb down 0

I was just asking, bcuz i have seen strips, that hang to much over the same thing. They got forgotten, they got bad comments, and then they closed. I don’t want this strip be closed, that it’s all to good to.

And that with it’s not a joke, you are half right, half wrong. Yeah, it’s a story, but it has humor in it. There is a joke in everyone of them. He has made something between that.

        • Enzo

          wrote on at :
          Thumb up Thumb down 0

          1. Negative feedback would be one of the last things that would end this comic.

          2. Not all of the pages have jokes. It is a story. Yes, it has touches of humor in it, but the overall message was not intended to make you laugh.

          3. I just got back from my buddy Caleb’s dorm and the toilet paper there felt like I was wiping with barbed wire.

Haha, the dog you grew up with and shared many happy moments with died.

Yeah that’s a real funny joke, asshole. I hate sounding like someone who blindly follows everything an artist does without questioning any of his work, but you don’t seem to get that you’re the only one without a fucking clue.

And they’ve got cream for that, Enzo. I have a dog myself, so this tribute hit a special chord with me.

Third time is the charm. I have tried to write this comment three times, so hopefully this will work. First, I would like to tell you that for the past year that I have been following this web comic, I have enjoyed your crude humor. Very top notch. Two, the Dog mini series is very touching and reminds me of my dogs, which is, well, my current chihuahua. It hates me. The feeling is very mutual.

Anyway, now I am rambling. Though I have a third and final point: I can’t seem to get past an artistic block and was wondering how you get past these blocks, if you have them. Thank you for reading.

First day of school when you are 9 years old.
School usually lasts 12 years all up.
Also stating you just finished high school.
You started school 2 years late, didn’t you feel like, really old?
Would’ve been cool when you could drive before everyone else though. :D

    Sorry, I noticed that.

I have been following this strip off and on for the last couple months (stupid school…grrr) and I almost stopped reading it when I got to the part about your dog dying. Not that I don’t know that I am not alone, but having to put a dog down that I literally grew up with all my life sucked so hard, since my parents weren’t able to go through with it, and the vet needed an owner in the room with her. Anyway, I am glad now that I came back, these stories remind me so much of life with my dog and I sometimes need the reminder that we had good times together as well. Cheers, mate!

When I thought you wouldn’t draw anymore, I felt sad. I never thought coming back would be sadder. :( My boyfriend had a dog. It died last year. I felt so guilty because I really didn’t like her. She was smelly and fat and lazy. I always complain that I couldn’t breathe with her around. One time I made him take the dog out. Out on the porch, the dog just wouldn’t move anymore. She would just lay around. The day after, Princess died. I couldn’t forgive myself. I mean, compared to the dog, I’ve just been his girl for 2 years. The dog was with him since he was a kid. *Still guilty*

D: This really strikes a chord with me, because my own parents gave away my puppy while I was at school. They didn’t even say they were going to, and refuse to tell me who they gave her to.

    Hey Enzo -

I really enjoyed this strip. People may talk some trash in the comment section, but anything that an artist creates that evokes a strong emotional response in the viewer is good art. This made me think of pets that I have had, the common experience of love and loss, and brought a tear to my eye. Not a tear that made me lastingly sad or depressed. Just a tear that reminds me of the importance of sharing the good moments we have while we have them. Thanks :)
