Damn! I love Death Metal and films about war and violence. But this simple cartoon made me cry. The drawings are really simple, but the whole thing is absolutely ingenious! This is some kind of real pilosophy. This cartoon reminds me of taking chances in life – to care about the people (and the dog) I love. Now I gonna hug my dog – and then listen to some real Metal again

Hey, I posted it on another strip, but I wanted to tell you again: this is a great strip. People talk trash about an extended series of strips on one subject, but this is really touching. As an artist, you have created a piece that evokes emotion in people and causes them to relate your work to their own experience. Great job. This strip made me cry, but not in a way that left me sad or depressed, just in a way that reminds me how fleeting life is, and how priorities are so arbitrary, and that we have to share the moments of love in life while we have them.
